New Home

I have moved back home to Wisconsin but I want to reassure my Arizona clients that I am still their personal consultant even though I am 2,000 miles away. That's what is so great about digital scrapbooking and Heritage Makers...with today's technology I can reach out to you through the Internet. Contact me at info@memoriesin.com or call 920-420-0463 if you need any guidance on your next project.

Advice for Beginning and Seasoned Scrapbookers

Advice for the beginner and seasoned scrapbooker

  1. Be patient with yourself.  Give yourself time to find your style. Don't compare to the magazine.
  2. Don't put pressure on yourself. We all start in the same place...with paper and photos. It's about preserving memories, not winning a layout contest.
  3. You don't have to use all pictures, just a small handful. Find a photo to use as a prompt for telling your story. Maybe start with a small album.
  4. Don't scrapbook chronologically.  Instead, start with a favorite picture and write about it. Just have fun and share your life.
How to Save Time, Take better Pictures and Shop Wisely

Save Time:
  • Don't mat every picture
  • Designate a time to scrap
  • Buy coordinating paper and embellishments
  • Organize First
Photography:
  • Get closer – when you think you're close enough...step forward one more step
Shopping:
  • When shopping have in mind what you want to do – buy supplies for exactly what you're working on
  • Invest in tools that will go the distance for you.  Things you use many ways.
